WE NEED  YOUR HELP!

Our PDS School Bus, Presbyterian Day School has been providing Christ-centered education to students of Patchakan, Yo-Chen, San Pedro and Cristo Rey Villages. God has blessed us with a school bus that safely transports 41 students and 4 teachers daily to school. The bus also serves and facilitates movement of missionary teams that come to our school, sister schools and local churches. The bus is of great blessing the entire Christian family. Part of our bus maintenance requires vehicle insurance and license paid annually. Twice a month we add fuel to the bus and every end of school cycle (3 months) we do an engine service. During the school cycle we might encounter unplanned repairs and tire replacement. Our monthly expense to operate the bus is of 700 BZ dollars, (350 US) If you want to provide support for the PDS bus and want to commit through:

Meet Ms.Danisha Acosta, Danisha is one of our newly joined teachers. She is a young, energetic and innovative teacher. Behind her is a very powerful and impacting story of Hope. At the age of 6, her parents along with other relatives, found themselves in a fatally tragic traffic accident. For a 6-year-old girl, questions bombarded her. When all hope seemed lost, God silently answered each of her questions. Since then, Danisha has lived with her grandmother. God blessed and saw her through elementary school. Then He guided her to complete her secondary years at Cornerstone Presbyterian High school. There she learned more of who God is for her. The difficult experiences of her childhood motivated her to aspire to be a light of hope for students who need it. Because of this, she pursued her teacher training program. During her last year of studies, again, hope seemed to vanish when she was found in a crisis where everything pointed out that she wouldn’t complete her teacher training. Once more, God her father, proved to be her immediate provider and she was able to successfully complete her teacher training. She has enjoyed every moment she has had to be in a classroom. Her impacting story has touched the lives of many students. She is now at Presbyterian Day School impacting the lives of our students. Danisha is employed as a part time teacher, but her dedication and passion make her go beyond what she is required. We at PDS want to employ her as a full time teacher.
